It is the fourth monograph on the fruits of New York State prepared by the New York Agricultural Experiment Station. This is the Twenty Second Annual report- Vol. 2-Part II. Ulysses Prentiss Hedrick (1870-1951) was a Fellow of A.A.A.S. (American Association for the Advancement of Science) and the New York Historical Association, and a member of both the American Pomological Society and the American Society for Horticultural Science. Professor Hedrick taught Horticulture at the Agriculture Colleges of Michigan, Utah and Oregon between the years of 1893 -1905.
